Fee Changes from February 2026
Companies House fee changes from 1 February 2026 – what you need to know
From 1 February 2026, Companies House will be updating a number of its statutory fees. These changes may affect you if you are planning to set up a company or LLP, file a confirmation statement, change company details, or deal with overseas entity registrations.
We wanted to give you a clear and simple overview of what is changing and how it may affect you.
Digital filing remains the most cost-effective option
In most cases, digital submissions will continue to be cheaper than paper filings. For example:
Setting up a company will cost £100 online, compared to £124 on paper
Filing a confirmation statement will cost £50 digitally, but £110 on paper
Voluntary strike-off fees will remain lower online at £13
Where possible, we will always recommend and handle digital filings on your behalf to help keep costs down.
Same-day and specialist services
If you need require services, such as same-day company incorporation or a same-day name change, these will continue to attract higher fees. For example, same-day digital incorporation will increase to £156.
Fees are also increasing for more complex processes, such as:
Administrative restorations
Overseas entity registrations and updates
Certain partnership and LLP filings
Overseas entities
Most overseas entity filings must now be made digitally, with paper submissions permitted only allowed in limited circumstances. Digital registration will cost £250, with higher fees applying where paper filing is required.
